Book Description
From Mike Michalowicz, bestselling author of Profit First, Clockwork, and Fix This Next, a practical and proven guide to standing out in a crowded market. Many business owners are frustrated because they feel invisible in a crowded marketplace. They know they are better than their competitors, but when they focus on that fact, they get little in return. That's because, to customers, better is not actually better. Different is better. And those who market differently, win. In his new marketing book, Mike Michalowicz offers a proven, no-bullsh*t method to position your business, service, or brand to get noticed, attract the best prospects, and convert those opportunities into sales. Told with the same humor and straight-talk that's gained Michalowicz an army of ardent followers, with actionable insights drawn from stories of real life entrepreneurs, this book lays out a simple, doable system based on three critical questions every entrepreneur and business owner must ask about their marketing: 1. Does it differentiate? 2. Does it attract? 3. Does it direct? Get Different is a game-changer for everyone who struggles to grow because their brand, message, product or service doesn't stand out and connect with customers--the long-anticipated answer to the defining business challenge of our time.

Different Perspectives on Wavelets

Different Perspectives on Wavelets PDF Author: Ingrid Daubechies
Publisher: American Mathematical Soc.
ISBN: 0821855034
Category : Mathematics
Languages : en
Pages : 205

Book Description
The wavelet transform can be seen as a synthesis of ideas that have emerged since the 1960s in mathematics, physics, and electrical engineering. The basic idea is to use a family of 'building blocks' to represent in an efficient way the object at hand, be it a function, an operator, a signal, or an image. The building blocks themselves come in different 'sizes' which can describe different features with different resolutions. The papers in this book attempt to give some theoretical and technical shape to this intuitive picture of wavelets and their uses. The papers collected here were prepared for an AMS Short Course on Wavelets and Applications, held at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Antonio in January 1993.Here readers will find general background on wavelets as well as more detailed views of specific techniques and applications. With contributions by some of the top experts in the field, this book provides an excellent introduction to this important and growing area of research.

Israel, A Different Version

Israel, A Different Version PDF Author: Eljay King
Publisher: Xulon Press
ISBN: 1606470469

Languages : en
Pages : 126

Book Description
Have you ever wondered what the future holds for the United States and also for Israel? Surely a righteous God will not allow this country to continue in the downward spiral that is prevalent now. The bible gives a good foretelling of the events that await both of these countries. But there are so many different verses to contend with and they are scattered all through the bible. Also, there are so many different speakers who give an intelligent guess of what these events predict? I just don't understand. They all cannot be correct. Question, if THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL will return, how will the people know that they are members? How will Israel feed the whole world? Will the sicknesses that the whole world is experiencing at this time ever be cured? How will the false messiah fool so many people into accepting him as a god? In 1953, I started listening to different preacher on the radio. Those messages on Israel seemed to have more guessing of future events than fact. The messages also changed with the preacher. In 1986, I started reading the bible and making notes of the verses that referred to Israel in the latter days. I ended up with ten pages front and back of scripture verses. I bought my first computer with an orange screen and started compiling and writing. In 1993, I sent a copy to a publisher but never heard anything back. My time for studying ceased due to my outside workload. My house burned in 2001 with a complete loss of everything including my orange computer. I started reading and compiling notes again. The book that you are reading is the end results of the four following years.
