Cooking for our family of 15 came from past generations who migrated from Northern India. My parents originated from Bihar State in India in the late 1800s and early 1900s. They came on the Mutler Ship as indentured servants to Trinidad and worked in the fields for almost half of a century. They had hopes that moving to this new world would make their future generations more realistically modern and successful.
